This blog is to record what I read

This blog about reading is a blog that almost no one reads -

This is okay because my posts in this are brief and hurried

On my floor time blog I spend atleast 3-4 hours composing a post, adding pictures etc

Posts on this blog are about 3 minutes each

I have also taken the expedient tool of copying and pasting other readers' summary from their reviews ( properly sourced of course )

Then why write anyway ?

Because reading is one of my greatest pleasures in life and will probably be one of my greatest joys forever

Rereading a summary of a book I read allows me to relive the pleasure

 I will probably spend a lot more time on this blog in another 20 years or so when I am no longer so consumed by my work and my mother role

At that time it will be lovely to go back 20 years and look at what I read and enjoyed !!

What I read has such a huge connection with my inner world

Except in times of stress

When I read - just to escape

I also want to connect with other readers

When you meet a person who loves the same kinds of books you do - you know you have found a true friend
